Hills of Baratti
25x50cm oil on canvas
Digging through the portfolios in my studio I found this painting from 2002. It is a house on the Viale della Principessa that runs from San Vincenzo to Piombino in the Val di Cornia. I can see the influence of the Macchiaoli and I remember laboring over this painting. The powerlines make it more interesting to me. The industrial world in the Tuscan hills.
These are beautiful. I love the light.
ReplyDeleteThank Laura, Tuscany is the most beautiful place in the world.
