Just an underpainting

The last month I've worked on one painting that may be used for a meeting here in Paris

Here is the founder of the doctrine of Evolution.

Do you know this man?

His sculpture has a prominent position in the Jardin des Plantes.

Then I had to incorporate this drawing into the painting.  Not an easy task.

This was the underpainting

then it went here and I thought I would have to give up.
